Bizcore Pusher.com Integration Setup Guide

Pusher.com is used to enable real-time notifications in Bizcore, allowing your team to get instant updates (e.g., new leads, tasks, tickets, messages) without refreshing the page. Configuring this properly ensures smooth live communication within your company.

Access Pusher.com Integration Settings

1. Go to the Setup menu in Bizcore.

2.Click Settings.

3. Under Integrations, click Pusher.com.

You will now see the Pusher configuration fields.

Configure Pusher.com Credentials

You need a Pusher account before setting this up.

1. Go to Pusher.com and create an account (if you don’t already have one).

2. Create a new Channels app.

3. Copy the following details from your Pusher dashboard and enter them into Bizcore:

a) APP ID

– This is your unique application ID from Pusher.

– Paste it in the APP ID field in Bizcore.

b) APP Key

– This is your public key used to authenticate requests.

– Paste it in the APP Key field in Bizcore.

c) APP Secret

– This is your private key used for secure authentication.

– Paste it in the APP Secret field in Bizcore.

– Important: Keep this key private. Do not share it publicly.

d) Cluster

– Choose the Pusher cluster closest to your server’s location for best performance.

– You can find available clusters in Pusher Clusters Documentation.

– Example: If your company is in Malaysia, use ap1 (Asia Pacific).

Leave blank to use default pusher cluster.

e) Enable Real-Time Notifications

– Yes / No option.

– Set to Yes to allow Bizcore to push live updates instantly to users without page reloads.

f) Enable Desktop Notifications

– Yes / No option.

– Set to Yes to allow notifications to appear as pop-ups on users’ desktop screens.

– Note: Users must allow notifications in their browser when prompted.

Starting from September 2017 the application must run on SSL in order desktop notifications to work properly (browser requires SSL).

g) Auto Dismiss Desktop Notifications

– Set the number of seconds after which notifications disappear automatically.

Google Chrome

– Example:

5 → notifications disappear after 5 seconds.

0 → notifications stay on screen until manually dismissed.

– Recommendation: Use 5-10 seconds for a balance between visibility and convenience.

Save Settings

Once all fields are filled and your preferences are set, click Save to activate Pusher integration.
