Project Module – Timesheet Management
The Timesheet feature in BizCore allows you to accurately track and record the time spent on tasks and projects. This helps ensure transparent billing, monitor team productivity, and measure project efficiency.
This article explains how to log time using the Timer function, manually add time entries, and best practices for timesheet management.
Accessing the Timesheet Section
1. From the Main Dashboard, navigate to Projects.
2. Open the project you want to view.
3. Click on the Timesheet tab to access all time entries associated with the project.
You will see a list of logged time records, including the task, member, start/end time, and total duration.
Logging Time with the Timer
The easiest way to log time is by using the Start Timer button directly on a task.
Steps to Start a Timer:
1. Open the Tasks section of your project.
2. Locate the task you are working on.
3. Click Start Timer.
The timer will begin running in the background, tracking the time you spend on the task.
4. When you finish working, click Stop Timer to log the time automatically.
This method is ideal for real-time tracking and ensures precise time measurement.
Adding Timesheet Entries Manually
You can also log time manually, which is useful if you forgot to start the timer or need to backfill previous work hours.
Steps to Add a Timesheet Entry:
1. Go to the Timesheet section of your project.
2. Click + Timesheet.
3. Fill in the following fields:

End Time | Select the exact end time. The system will calculate the total duration automatically. |

Member | Select the team member who logged this time (if you are an admin, you can log time on behalf of others). |
Note | Add a short description or comment about the work done (e.g., Updated client presentation). |
4. Click Save to record the timesheet entry.
