Project Module – Overview and Task Management
The Project Module in BizCore offers a centralized workspace where all projects are listed and managed. It allows you to monitor progress, collaborate with your team and clients, and maintain a complete record of project activities.
This article explains the Project Overview page, the available sections for managing project components, the More Options menu, and the Task Management process.
Project List
Once projects are created, they are displayed in the Projects List with key information such as project name, status, client account, start date, and deadline. You can easily search, filter, or sort projects to quickly find the one you need.
Click on a project name to open its Overview page.
Project Overview
The Overview Section provides a summary of the selected project, including all critical details at a glance.
Field | Description |

Project # | Unique identifier for the project. |
Billing Type | Indicates whether the project is Fixed Price, Hourly, or Non-Billable. |
Date Created | The date when the project was initially created. |
Deadline | The final due date for the project. |
Total Logged Hours | Total hours recorded by team members. |
Account | The client or account associated with the project. |
Status | Current status of the project (e.g., Not Started, In Progress, On Hold). |
Start Date | Date the project work officially begins. |
Estimated Hours | Total number of hours expected to complete the project. |
Project Amount | Total project value or budget. |
Description | Detailed project description and goals. |
Expenses Used | Total recorded expenses for the project. |
Project Sections
Each project contains multiple sections that help manage every aspect of the work:

Milestone | Define key project deliverables and deadlines. |
Files | Upload, store, and share project-related documents. |

Gantt | View a visual timeline of tasks and milestones. |
Tickets | Track and resolve client-reported issues. |
Contracts | Manage project contracts and related financial agreements. |
Sales | View opportunities, quotations, invoices, subscriptions, expenses, and credit notes linked to this project. |
Purchase | Manage procurement with purchase requests, purchase orders, and purchase contracts. |
Notes | Record internal notes or updates related to the project. |
Activity | View a full history of project activity logs. |
Warranty Letter | Track warranties, coverage periods, and claims related to the project. |
More Options Menu
The More button in the project view provides additional actions you can perform:
Option | Function |
---|---|
Pin Project | Pin the project for quick access. |
Edit Project | Update project details or settings. |
Copy Project | Duplicate the project structure for reuse. |
Mark as Not Started | Reset project status to “Not Started.” |
Mark as On Hold | Pause the project and mark it as “On Hold.” |
Mark as Cancelled | Mark the project as cancelled. |
Mark as Finished | Mark the project as completed. |
Export Project Data | Download project data for external analysis or reporting. |
View Project as Account | View the project from the client’s perspective. |
Delete Project | Permanently delete the project (use with caution). |
